Mrs. Magdi a nulláról megtanított angolul. Az órái érdekesek és izgalmasak voltak. Sosem volt bennem az a negatív nyomás amit egy nyelv megtanulása okoz, mert Mrs. Magdi élvezhetővé tette a száraz tananyagot. Emellett pedig a világ legtürelmesebb és kedvesebb tanára. Mindenkinek csak javasolni tudom hogy nála tanuljon angolul!

It is tough for a 15 year-old boy to adjust to a new language, people, and a new country. I moved to Budapest from China when I was 15, to learn English at an American Christian high school, which sounds quite exciting and difficult. I started my English almost from zero. Here came Ms. Magdalena, she gave us the warmest smile and created a happy English learning environment. I learnt my basic English in her lessons and also obtained my confidence.  I gave my first English speech in her class which was crucial for me at that time. This experience helped me get rid of "Chinese English” , I started to speak more rather than just read and write. Later I attended Corvinus business school in Budapest, majoring in business management. I got state scholarship for my studies and scored 5 on my graduate thesis work. I started my own business and  became the owner of 16 bubble tea stores. All in all, English has been essential for my career.

I have to be honest, Mrs. Bagi is the only English teacher I have ever met in life that really cared about students and she teaches English really well! I have learned plenty of vocabulary, learned how to write, read in a proper way, and I am very thankful for meeting such a nice teacher.  I moved to Hungary 8 years ago and had the chance to study in GGIS, that’s where I met Mrs.Bagi. And now I am studying aviation management in Poland, everything is going great!

I took Mrs. Magdalena’s EAL classes back in 2011 when I was in high school.  She was a very passionate, competent teacher with extensive experience in teaching English. She could immediately point out my weaknesses in English and made a personalized learning plan for me that not only tackled my weaknesses but also further boosted my strengths.  She was very approachable and patient whenever I had any questions. By taking her classes, I realized learning English could be a very enjoyable experience. As a result, I became more confident in both writing and speaking English, which encouraged me to later study and work in the US. Mrs. Magdi is the best English teacher I’ve ever met. When I started from ESL 1 eight years ago, I had difficulty in speaking, reading and listening. I couldn’t even read a paragraph of an article thoroughly. After studying with Mrs. Magdi for a year my English improved magnificently. The base Mrs. Magdi built for me made my university life much easier. I no longer had difficulty communicating with other foreign classmates and doing assignments.
